immunisation sucks. tkmb film

I went to the Health Promotion Board today, to get the immunisation, with Pati & Necha. When we arrived we went straight to the toilet, and acted like total idiots there. Hahah. Then we went out and didn't know where to go to. We had to register first, and there was this machine where we put our EZLink card to get its barcode scanned, and then it knows our name! (<- see, total idiot) Then we'll get a number, and then we go to the registration place, then we get another number, and wait for another machine to display our number on the screen thingy. You know, that kind of screen.

Then I went in to get consultation from the doctor, and after that waited again to finally get immunised. Shot. Dunno what's the word.

When I was shot it wasn't that painful. Well, ok, quite painful, but bearable. After that it wasn't painful anymore. So everyone's happy.

BUT, it hurts NOW. It hurts when I raise my left arm. I got shot on my right & left arm. The right one is ok, but the left one is a problem. Dammit.

Now the rest of the girls are watching To Kill A Mockingbird. I don't wanna watch, cos it'll ruin my image of the characters. I've seen a trailer of the film, and I was rather disappointed with the casts. Atticus doesn't look as clever as I imagined, Scout doesn't look as boyish as I imagined, and Mayella doesn't look as weak as I imagined. Thank goodness I didn't see Jem and Dill. I still want them to remain as I imagined them to be in my mind. For now I want to enjoy the book as a book, not a film, where the characters' faces are clearly seen. For now I still want to enjoy the characters as I imagine them to be. I'll watch it after the O's, when I don't need to get in the atmosphere of the book, and understand it as if I live in the book's world (isn't in needed in order to really feel and understand the book? I dunno).
