video call, school very boring, heart-broken
HAPPY SWEET 16TH BIRTHDAY STEPHANIE FOO SHI LING! hahah I'm very nice right.
p.s. if you (Steph) read this: sorry I didn't give you any present YET, I didn't know what to give anyway. hahas! and you never give me present also ok. I'm considering buying you some Indonesian shirt which I gave Celine last time, but it means that you'll only get it next year. hahaha. Or you want mine? I have 2 :D

Hmmm. School has been... just as usual... boring. Sitting in front sucked. Can't do anything apart from listening to the teachers obediently and do the assignments given also obediently. Sighs.
But now I have been moved to the 3rd row, sitting in the middle with Hui Min on my left and Jing Yun on the right. Hello new partners! :D
Come to think of it, they're my 2nd (and also 3rd) partners in these 1.5 years studying in IJ. Hahaha, Steph, it's kinda lonely now without you disturbing me all the time and asking for food everyday. Plus the baseball games. Your singing in class. OMG I'M BEING SENTIMENTAL.
I just tried video call, quite fun, but the internet veryyyy sloooww. Captured some photos but not very nice :(
Hmm what else? Hating the teacher. THE teacher. You know. He's very demanding and quite unreasonable sometimes, like, saying that he won't put us together again (just sit in separate tables) but now what? We sit 3 people together. Right mister.

h1n1, school, RIP Michael Jackson
Helllo. I'm back to school now. Giant sigh.
Right. So. Urm.
Let us begin with the beloved H1N1. It is still a big issue here in Singapura, the stupid country which thinks that they could still stop the spread of the flu by quarantining people who just came back to countries which are considered "danger zones", like the US, UK, Japan, the Philippines, Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, and so on. What a lot of smart people (like me) would say, is that why don't they check the people in Changi airport? Well, yes, the virus need like a week to show symptom and to actually be active, but still. I think it's very foolish to quarantine people, especially in this hostel, where they can go around very easily and without proper watching and all? I mean, one of the hostelites went to Thailand and she was quarantined on the 4th floor, and no one was to interact with her. What did she do? Went to a walk up and down the slope out there, studied in the common study room, and went around the hostel as if nothing happens. Right. So much for cautionary quarantine.
And then, some schools in SG have been closed or extended the holidays because a lot of the students from that school have been infected with the virus. (Un)Fortunately, CHIJ Secondary Toa Payoh does not. Instead, to prevent the spread, they cancelled the assembly, the cross-country event which is actually the sports day (I just knew it today), meaning we bought the house t-shirts to not be worn on any events at school, and also they cancelled the Youth Day mass, or you can say all the meetings and gatherings. Right. And they did not close the canteen, where people gather to eat and a lot of other people would be sitting on the chairs and the tables which have been used by other people, and don't you think that will be a grreat place for the virus to go around and find other victims?
Singapore is a very weird country.
Hmm, and then I can say that I have begun to be a little more diligent and hard-working than before, which is good, cos I know that I've been slacking during the first half of the year and now I am very very afraid that I won't do well in the O's. Cereally. So I'm trying to revise everyday, at least for an hour or so. Let's hope I can hold on to this.
Then, I am really really missing my fam now, which is quite a big problem.
Yeah, so that's it I think. Oh and I am really loving twitter at the moment, I am updating very often there cos it's like, I've got nothing to do, and it's really fun to stalk other people and get updated with stuff like the news and health tips and discount infos. hahas.
Oh and lastly, Rest In Peace, Michael Jackson, your Heal The World is now one of my super favourite song which got me crying on the day you passed away. You are a great man, and the title really suits you. I also want to live in Neverland, I am sure everyone do, and thank you so so much to try to make this world a better place for us to live in. All the best for you, wherever you are now, I am sure you are happy and free, and know that a LOT of people are missing you here. GOD bless. AMEN.

h1n1. twitter. bosan dan banyak lainnya. DENGAN BAHASA INDONESIA
sudah lama tidak mengupdate. ini semua dikeranakan malas. aduh malas pakai bahasa inggris, jadi menggunakan bahasa indonesia saja ya.
di sini sedang heboh h1n1. si flu babi itu. banyak yang baru kembali dari luar negeri. ada yang baru kembali dari jepang, sebagai contoh, salah satu negara dari banyak negara yang terdaftar sebagai negara yang sudah terinfeksi dengan virus h1n1. lalu orang-orang tersebut pun dikarantina, tidak diperbolehkan keluar dari kamar atau berinteraksi dengan orang-orang lain.
sekarang indonesia telah termasuk ke dalam negara-negara tersebut. padahal baru ada 2 kasus orang yang telah positif terinfeksi dengan virusnya. singapura sudah melaporkan ada 220 kasus. bagaimana pendapat anda tentang hal ini?
sekolah-sekolah di singapura banyak yang memutuskan untuk memperpanjang liburan bulan juni ini selama seminggu, untuk mencegah penyebaran virus lebih lanjut. namun, sekolah saya, sekolah menengah chij toa payoh, tidak memperlakukannya. mereka hanya mengatakan bahawa apabila anda baru pulang dari bepergian setelah atau pada tanggal 22 juni 2009, barulah anda tidak diperkenankan masuk ke sekolah. saya kembali ke singapura pada tanggal 13 juni 2009. menyebalkan sekali, bukan? jadi saya harus masuk sekolah, deh.
hmm. khabar lainnya adalah saya jadi senang sekali bermain twitter. seru sekali, lho. saya menggunakan aplikasi tweetdeck, yang mempermudah mengupdate dan juga menerima update dari teman-teman yang anda ikuti. saya jadi mengupdate setiap lima menit sekali atau bahkan lebih, sehingga saya merasa saya seperti orang yang tidak punya kerjaan. memang sih saya tidak punya kerjaan. saya malas sekali mengerjakan pe er. bosan tahu mengerjakan pe er.
hmm. lalu saya juga menjadi suka sekali menonton nigahiga di pipakamu. dia lucu sekali lho. video-video paporit saya ialah mengapa chris cokelat menghajar rihanna, si pura-puraWUHU, anak-anakBop, dan masih banyak yang lainnya. ayo nonton ya, lalu beritahu saya bagaimana menurut kamu.
aduh saya merasa tidak penting sekali nih, menulis dengan bahasa indonesia yang baik dan benar seperti ini. tapi menyenangkan juga. oleh itu saya akan melanjutkannya terus.
hal lain yang ada dalam fikiran saya pada masa ini ialah pesanan disk kompak McFly saya yang berjudul Radio:ACTIVE. pada tanggal 16 juni 2009 saya memesan disk kompak tersebut di ebay.com, seharga GBP9.5. cukup murah, bukan? saya akan mendapatkan dvd (guwa kaga tahu bahasa indonesianya apa), disk kompak berisi lagu-lagunya, dan juga sebuah buku. aduh saya berharap isi bukunya adalah poto-poto tampan daripada anggota McFly. kerana saya sedang jatuh cinta dengan kakak Dougie Poynter, yang tampan sekali ituh. oh iya, kelmarin disk kompak Motion In The Ocean (saya tidak mengubah judul albumnya kerana saya menyukai McFly dan apabila saya ubah itu bererti saya tidak sopan. lain halnya dengan chris cokelat kerana saya tidak terlalu suka dia). saya senang sekali, sampai-sampai saya melompat-lompat dan dilihati oleh orang-orang yang ada di dalam ruangan makan.
aduh, apa lagi ya. ah iya. akhir-akhir ini saya merasa sulit tidur. menyebalkan sekali. saya tidak boleh tidur apabila suasananya terang atau berisik. oleh itu saya mengenakan penutup mata dan penyumpal telinga saat tidur.

back in SG :(
hellooo. I am officially back in SG now, and will be until around mid Nov I think? Sighssssss. :(
on the last day in Indo I spent by EATING BUFFET at Keyaki restaurant in Sari Pan Pacific Hotel. It was greeat. I ate:
tempura, beef & chicken teriyaki, unagi with tofu (the tofu was not nice though), sushi (only the tamago one), prawn (a big one, but I don't think it was a lobster), the grilled thingy where we can choose what we want and wait for the cook to cook it for us (consisted of 6 slices of beef, 3 slices of chicken & 2 slices of fish. didn't finish it, I went to toilet and when I got back it was gone. someone ate it. oh well), and ICE CREAM. too little for Rp170k-worth buffet? Oh well. My dad & bro ate a lot so it payoffed.
And on 13th I went back to SG with Ate & Icha, and when we got to Changi, GM joined us cos she went to send her mom off (her mom was going back to Indo, we met her in the terminal, she was going in and we were going out). Then we wanted to eat Carl's Jr., or Delifrance cos it's been a long time, but all the fast food restos were having renovation, so we had to go to the 3rd floor and eat at the foodcourt in which the food were super ex. dammit. Ate & I had spaghetti chicken afredo (cream one) for S$8.5 each and only bought 1 drink cos it was free-flow. The regular drink was S$1.6 and the glass was so small. But whatever, it was free-flow anyway. We shared it among the 4 of us. So stingy right. Hahah.
Then when I got back to the hostel, our room was dirty, cos the fan was cleaned when we went home and a bit of the dirt dropped to the floor and onto my bed. Argh. So Icha & I cleaned our room first before unpacking. We wiped the floor and all, I considered changing the position of my desk but it was not successful. I also wiped the floor traditionally ok, on my hands & knees. Cos if using the mop thing it was still quite dirty and I couldn't stand it, so yeah. haha.
And today I'm gonna have tuition at 2.30-4.30pm. SIGHS. :'(

wooohooooo in Indonesia alr :D
HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY TO VANESSA CASSANDRA!!! :DDD
I think the rest of the girls called her at 12am yesterday night (or this morning?), to greet her. When one of them SMSed me it was 11 past and I was already asleep. Sorry Ne. :(
I AM IN INDONESIA!!! It's been 2 days alr, and I have:
- eaten the food I wanted to eat. The one left is only Ayam Goreng Pemuda Surabaya I think.
- CUT MY BELOVED HAIR. AAAAAHHHH I LOOK REALLY HORRIBLE NOWWWW. DD''''X TOO SHORT DAMMIT.
- hmm bought a lot of things. I've got the skirt, oversized tee (2), leggings (2), celana ketat (what do you call this in Eng? Tight shorts?), and now thinking to buy a laptop bag, the small one. I still dunno. Malls I've gone in 2 days: Mall Kelapa Gading, Mall of Indonesia, Plaza Senayan, Senayan City. I haven't gone to Mall Artha Gading, I wanna go there.
- played the violin. So hard just to tune it! I was so scared that I was gonna break the string again. Just so you know, the first time I got the violin, I tried to tune it myself and I broke the first (or the fourth? The smallest one) immediately. HAHAH.
- met some relatives.
- planned to go out with junior high friends. Today at 12. I have to go with the wonderful Pochi cos I have nobody to fetch me. So later I think at 9.30 he will go swimming first and I'll go with him, just waiting there cos I don't wanna swim. Well, actually I can't. For some reason. NOT THAT I CANNOT SWIM OK. I'll just do homework. Sighs.
hmm what else? Oh I do not like my PC's keyboard. So hard to press! I like my laptop much better.

going home in 2 hrs!
Today I'm supposed to go and have a class barbecue. However, I can't go cos my flight to Indonesia today is at 8.50pm (can't use 'but' at the beginning of a sentence). :(
Yesterday I helped buying the things to have for the barbecue. Nevertheless, I can't enjoy it. (this is very awkward)
I'm going home with the boys, cos I was supposed to go with Melda, but she moved her flight to the 7th I think, cos she takes part in the 30-hour fast. Oh well.
WHAT I AM GOING TO DO/HAVE IN INDONESIA:
1. food. Bumbu Den, Hoka Hoka Bento, pempek, Santai Malam, Ayam Goreng Pemuda Surabaya, and a lot of other things I may not remember now. MAHAHA.
2. SHOPPING. I wanna buy skirts and oversized tees. Oh btw I bought the grey cotton on skirt, but size 10. I'm gonna alter it at home later.
3. need to do homeworks. SIGHSSS. :'(
4. I might add some more later. hahah!
