mid year exam recount. up until now. DOUGIE XD

hello everyone. I will now tell you the recount of the past mid year papers that I have finished.

29.4.09 English Language paper 1 & 2
For paper one I did the expository one, to write about the delights and frustrations you encounter in friendships. I feel like I wrote a lot of rubbish and I repeated quite some stuffs. I hope I can get a B. Then for the situational writing, we must choose between 3 themes for a campaign for 'Visit Singapore', to increase the number of tourists and to boost the country's economy. The themes are Singapore as an Arts Centre, Education Hub or Multiracial something, I forgot. I chose the education one, cos I thought if you attract foreign talent to study in Singapore (like us), then you'll get the tourists (their families that come visiting) and also boost the economy if later they decide to work in Singapore. First-hand experience. I should get good marks. But I dunno.

30.4.09 Social Studies
I suck in this paper. The essay questions were rather hard and I wasn't very sure with the answer. I'm not confident in doing SS now, because of the trauma I get because I flunked SS during the 1st semester of sec 4. In sec 3 I did well, but in sec 4 it was like, dropped like a stone. I think this is because of the change of teacher. Hmphhhh. I hope the source-based one is okay, cos I think I gave ok answers. Oh and I thought I won't be able to finish this one, cos it was like, only 1 1/2 hrs and we have to do 2 essays and 4 SBQs, but I managed to finish and even got a little of extra time. Good, but I dunno about the quality of answers. :(

4.5.09 E. Math and Chemistry

5.5.09 Literature
The essay question was quite difficult. I immediately did the unseen prose without looking at the poem first. Haha. It was quite ok but I'm not so sure. Another one with extra time.

6.5.09 GEOGRAPHY
I was very scared before this paper, cos I felt like I didn't study very well, and I dunno what to study! There are 3 topics tested, Development, Industries and Geography of Food, and a lot from them are like, understanding, not really memorising. So then I dunno what to study, cos I felt like I've understood them, but I still need to memorise some things and I was too lazy. Heheh. And then when I saw the questions the first thing I looked for was the assessment (8 marks) question. I chose the questions to do based on this, and I decided to do the questions on Development and Geography of Food, which were the two topics I memorised the most. Hahaha. So yes. And I had extra time again. Which is quite good cos then I finished the paper.

7.5.09 A. Math
I SCREWED THIS ONE. Ohmygosh the questions were difficult, and I wasn't able to do a lot, especially the one on integration, and the differentiation thingy on velocity and all was like hell. And I didn't even know how to simplify! Argh. I hope I still can get an A. Sobs.

8.5.09 (supposedly) Biology
But I don't take bio so I supposedly can stay home, but the damn geography earthquake thing needs to be done once and for all. So we went to school to do the model. We did some already, up until the bracings, but we haven't inserted it into the base yet, and the base is still not drilled. We thought we needed to bring the stupid thing home, including the tools to make it, because we can't work tomorrow cos there's no teacher, and Monday is public holiday so we thought the school is closed. But the school is not closed on Mon. So we'll come back on Mon and do the thing again. Sob sob sob.

I'll have physics paper, chemistry SPA skill 3 and physics SPA skill 3 on Tues, Wed and Thurs respectively. I hope I'll get good marks for this MYE, cos I want to try to apply for DSA to JCs. AMEN!!! Wish me luck people. And I wish you luck for your exams too!! :D


OH AND I AM FALLING IN LOVE WITH DOUGIE AGAIN, COS HE'S THE HOTTEST MAN ON EARTH AND HE'S SO CUTE LIKE HEAVEN!!! XDDDD
