I FOUND MY LONG-LOST TWIN SISTER and tmr is the beginning of mid-year exam. aaaaaaaaaaaa

27.4.09: HAPPY SWEET 17TH BIRTHDAY CELINE AVRIN!! :D

I cannot understand social studies. last year I found it okay & do-able. but now it's just like hell-what-the-heck-is-this-I-don't-get-it. I think the problem is the teacher.

she is very smart. I know this fact. it's just that she cannot teach. it's like, she often uses (incomprehensible) imagery to explain, and this makes me understand the matter less. uuuuuuurrrrrrrrghhhhhhh.

but whatever. I think I'll just depend on my geography to save my L1R5 this year. sighsss.

so yes, tomorrow is the start of the mid-year examination. the first paper is english. I mean, yes, it is tomorrow. and here I am blogging where I'm supposed to study for english, although I'm not quite sure what to study anyway. maybe I'll just read compositions and do some comprehension, and find out what is the format of a letter (for situational writing. sigh).

I think I'm doing much better in english this year. I don't know if it is actually the matter of the teacher. last year, the teacher is like, not teaching. this year another teacher is teaching us, and she also nearly never teach, it's just that she is much better than the previous one in the sense that she jokes. not the kind of sarcastic jokes that the previous one made. and she is so nice to us. so yes. but I don't know. I think she is rather too generous when giving marks. or is it just me getting better? I hope it is the latter. :)

I PASSED MY NAPFA TEST!!! :DDDD in schools in SG, everyone must take what is called PFT test. physical fitness test or something like that. btw I typed physical wrongly just now. it was psyc.... yes. and I write pyschology wrongly too. it was physco..... same goes to my tablemate at school. we were writing psychological or something, then I wrote physc....., then I was like, "eh? this is not correct?" then I erased it, and I saw her writing the same thing as I wrote. hahhahaha. we're just damn cool la. yes, partner? :D

ehm, back to the PFT thingy. there are 6 items to be tested in each PFT.
1. 2.4 km run. or walk.,
2. sit-ups,
3. sit-and-reach,
4. 2x10m shuttle run,
5. standing broad jump, and finally...
6. THE DREADED INCLINE PULL-UPS.

I found number 1-3 ok, #4 manageable (just keep running as fast as you can), #5 quite ok, and #6 a disaster. incline pull-ups is just the evillest test item. it requires you to pull your body up with your arm muscle, which I doubt I even have.

hehehe.

in cjc hostel, we can use the facilities the school have to practice. last year, when I first tried the pull-ups in cjc, I was able to do 7. without difficulties. so I was very happy.

then came the test. I only managed to do 3, with HUGE difficulty, as big as my ss teacher's head.

so I was very scared. during the practice in sec 4, I was never able to do many, even to do 1 is a big problem.

BUT, ladies and gentlemen, I MANAGED TO DO 9, I REPEAT, NINE PULL-UPS TODAY!!!!! XDDD

and I think I may get a silver for this year's NAPFA test! yay me!! :DD

AND, in addition to my happiness, I FINALLY FOUND MY LONG-LOST FRIEND NADYA KURNIAWAN!!!!!!!!! WAAAAHHHHH!!!! :DDDDDD

we were very good friends in primary school, but in p4 she moved to another part of the country, so we were separated. I met her once after she moved, but only for a vert short time and after that we never contacted each other anymore. I tried to find her in friendster and facebook, but I never found the real her.

AND THEN, when I opened my email just now, I saw:

IT IS THE REAL HER!!!! :DDDDD

I am sooo happy. let's hope this will continue after I finish the MY exam and when I receive the results. AMEN.
