great weekend.

last friday my mom came to singapore to check on me. she got here at around 12 maybe?, then at 2 she went to my school and then we went to toa payoh to eat & also buy some things. then we went to the apartment (tan tong meng apartment), rest for a while, then go back to the hostel to put some things, take a bath, then go again to school, to have the parents' night.

parents' night: a repetition on 2008 O lvl results, points needed to go to JCs, and a lot of other stuff we already know. which moms don't seem to be interested in. I ended up borrowing a pencil and play games with my mom. :) and also sms-ing during the talk with Steph, who sat just behind me. hahah

then after that we were on our way back to the hostel & my mom to the apartment, we waited for taxi at toa payoh. IT WAS SO LONG. it was like an hour or so.

on the next day, at around 10 I walked to the apartment. then we went to vivo to eat & shop. I got a new jacket from esprit. :) my mom bought 3 shirts from clubmarc and 1 sleeveless from marks & spencer. the sleeveless was S$110 but because she was a tourist she can redeem or something like that, so we got a S$20 voucher which we used to buy a bodylotion (for my mom) & deodorant (for me). and I just knew that if I bring my passport to vivo I can get a lot of discounts from many shops. we just need to get the tourist pass from the customer service & there you go. discounts everywhere. woohoo.

after that we went to church in the cathedral (we arrived late; we came when the priest is giving homily), then later we had dinner in bugis, crystal jade xiao long bao. thus on that day I had xiao long bao twice. which is so nice. :)

on saturday night I stayed out with my mom at the apartment, then that night when we were sleeping I did the thing which I do everytime I'm going to part with her. :'(

on the next morning, I woke up at 9.30. hahahha so nice to at last wake up late in singapore. then we went to novena to have lunch, then rush back to the hostel to prepare for hostel performance.

at 1 we had the performance. I was a total bimbo, and was so disgusting (I was holding a lollipop mirror, & I attached a pink paper-flower to the badge. I also wore a hairband with pink things stuck to it. eww). hahahhaha. then after the performance I accompanied my mom to get the taxi, then she went by herself to the airport. on the way up to the hostel I did the thing again. :'( but only a little. hehe.

then for dinner we had pasta, with 2 sauces, cream & bolognaise. then we had ice cream. :D and took a lot of photos. I don't think I'll post it on facebook.

then I just knew today that tomorrow I'll have a chem test on electrolysis. I didn't knew that we're having it, so I left the textbook at school. and dammit, I just don't understand electrolysis. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
